Named after Golden Sardine, the 1967 collection by Beat poet Bob Kaufman, we are a wine bar, poetry bookstore, and gathering space in the heart of North Beach. We are inspired by the neighborhood's tradition as a haven for artists, writers, and dreamers.

Monthly 3 Bottle Club
Three bottles - $99/mo.
Owner Andrew Nelson and team will pick our favorite new wines for you each month.
Riesling & Champagne Club
Two bottles - $175/billed every other month
One bottle each of our favorite new Riesling (Andrew's favorite style of wine!) and Champagne. This package is available every other month and billed accordingly.
Poetry Club

A thoughtful selection authored by a poet we’re excited about. Subscribe on its own, or add it to your Wine Club!

Details
- Place your order by the 2nd Thursday to receive that month's Wine Club subscription. Recurring billing also occurs on this date.
- Wines are released for pickup starting on the 3rd Thursday of each month, during our typical business hours, at Golden Sardine, 362 Columbus Ave, San Francisco.
- Our storage space is quite limited and we’re unable to store your tasty wines for more than two weeks after the monthly release date. Abandoned orders cannot be refunded but may be replaced for similarly priced bottles at our discretion. Please reach out if you’re in need of additional accommodation.
